Just in case there's someone out there who miss me, or wondering where the hell did i vanish to, I'm now here to tell you: I'm here!! =PpP
Quite a lot happened and i was super busy with i-dunno-what, hence i didnt have time or didn't bother to update my blog. I find it very leh chay to blog about the slightest thing that happened so I decided to accumulate first. And, I didnt give much thought to how I'm going to blog so yup, here are just some random pics I posted. =)
Long Long Ago:Very surprised and touched to find out that my darling neighbours, Jieying and Siyi, bought a clay keychain for my roomie Gen, me and themselves. The back of the keychain even had our names written on it.
SO HONEY SWEET OF THEM!!
It was during the period where I was super upset with add-drop and the keychain really cheered me up =D
2 weekends ago, I went to have dim sum with my family at Geylang 126. I absolutely L-O-V-E dim sum sessions, especially with my family! =DDD

I can't remember when this was, but it was taken at pizza hut when I went there with wee keat. Their latest 'Sun' pizza, and a slice of the pizza forms 'V', which stands for VERONICA!! =D Anyway its nice!! Recommended for cheese lovers!
Now lets move on to not-so-appetising pictures - my lab practicals!!! All pictures are from my Microbiology lab, so you know what to expect?
Bacteria of course!!!
This messy plate below full of different bacteria was plated by me and my super pretty lab partner, Elicia, after we completed our prac and had excess bacteria cultures left. We were too free and wanted to waste our lab resources so we played around. After incubation, our 'artwork' came out quite well =)
'V' stands for me, 'E' represents her, the flower drawn by her, the smiley and the curvy line by me. Can't remember what bacteria we used, except that the red one is
Serratia Marcescens.
Oops I was supposed to wear gloves but hahahhaha oh well!
I wore gloves for my next experiment though. We were supposed to observe the effect of hand-washing in terms of the presence of surface bacterials before and after hand-washing. Below shows my results - only a few colonies before and NONE after! I'm sterile clean right??? So proud of my hand-washing skills. LOL! But, it may also be due to improper transfer of bacteria onto the culture plate. Whatever
la i choose to believe that my hands are super clean. yay!

ok this is a microscopic picture of Bacillus cereus. quite nice hor? we were supposed to look for endospores produced by the bacteria. Anyway they're colourless in nature, we had to stain them with Safranin to see them.
