i cannot stand kids!
to think i gave up two precious days of my nua-ing days at home to help sell food for Racial Harmony Day celebration in primary schools.
imagine how much hell i went through during the two days!
seriously are kids born to be irritating, annoying, noisy, disobedient and troublesome???
am i like them when i was a kid? lol.
FREAKING HELL THEY KEPT CALLING ME AUNTIE!!!!!!
"auntie i want this."
"auntie this one how much?"
"auntie will you all be here after school?"
AUNTIE THIS AUNTIE THAT OEI I AM ONLY NINETEEN YRS OLD OK!!!!!

a very funny thing happened.
during a period when the canteen was not so crowded, a small group of kids came to our stall.
(everything in chinese)
boy: auntie, ice ball how much?
me: 80 cents
boy: huh so expensive ah. can cheaper?
me: you call me MEI NU i charge you 60 cents la
boy shows the puking face (how dare him!!)
girl: can call you JIE JIE?
me: can. call me jie jie i charge you 70 cents
girl: oh. then i call you MEI NU JIE JIE, you charge me 50 cents can?
(me thinking: walao this girl smart sia...)
me: *laughs* cannot la...still 60 cents

honestly dun you think this girl is very smart. i mean at such young age, she knows how to bargain and she dares to! i think she follows her mum to the market everyday! LOL.
and you know what, kids nowadays are really rich!
many have like $5 and $10 notes in their pockets.
dammit. when i was young, all i had was coins!! =(

anyway primary schools nowadays have very nice washrooms.
each washrooms are creatively decorated according to themes.
quite nice really.
