@7:59 PM

dont understand why do people like to build their happiness on someone else's unhappiness.

dont think i didnt hear you, i'm just pretending to be deaf.
dont think i didnt see the look on your eyes, i'm just pretending i didnt notice.
dont think i hv no idea what you are thinking, i'm just pretending that I dont care.

because you dont mean a shit to me.
at all.

since i'm such a liability to all of you, i might as well quit cheer.

Below is the article on Channelnewasia.com

George Lee wins MediaCorp Radio Subaru Impreza Challenge 2008
By Asha Popatlal, Channel NewsAsia Posted: 12 November 2008 0025 hrs

SINGAPORE: A dancing soldier has won top honours at the gruelling MediaCorp-Subaru Impreza Challenge 2008.

And it was double joy for 29-year-old George Lee who walked away with a Subaru car, while setting a new endurance record of 81 hours and 32 minutes with his hand placed on a car.

In the final hours of Day Four, it appeared that girl power would reign as three women and a man were still going strong.

And then, it was down to a straight battle of the sexes - between 29-year-old George Lee and 35-year-old Mary Tan.

But just after 11pm in the heart of Singapore's shopping district of Orchard Road, the mother of two conceded.

Ms Tan said: "I lost a lot of concentration."

And that meant sweet victory for the army officer, who was taking part in the challenge for the third year.

Mr Lee said: "From Day One, when I put my hand on the car to the time I get the key - every part of the process I really enjoyed it. There is some kind of satisfaction I find in this challenge that you can't really find elsewhere - the kind of constraints and limitations you put your body through, which is really to the extreme of the extreme."

He wins for himself a Subaru Impreza car, worth some S$80,000.

And after being in the spotlight for so long, he had a rather simple request.

Mr Lee said: "A can of coke, then I will give myself a good shower and then sleep for the next 48 hours."

This was also the first time contestants from around the region took part in the Challenge, now in its seventh year. - CNA/de

I also found this blog posting an entry about my cousin, with more pictures.

@2:36 AM

Exams period is here again.
all the frustration, tireness, stress and whatnots are here to visit again.
crazy sleeping hours, constant staring of notes, occasional stoning, random hunger pangs; i'm used to all this by now.
soon, it'll be over, soon.
and then say hi to holidays :)

**

random thoughts:

its always so hard to change perceptions of others. no matter what i do, no matter what i do not do, how hard i try, how much effort i put in, or how i try to change their minds, things will always stay the same.
since everything is fixed, why should i try at all in the first place?
do i feel appreciated? no, sad to say.

sometimes, i wonder, if i am in the right place, or whether it is THE place for me.
having a passion for something doesn't necessarily mean you belong there.
it depends on how much the others accept you for who you are.
at times, i thought that i was numb to such issues.
"yes yes, let them say whatever they want and laugh however they like."
however, it doesn't seem so nowadays.
it's...............complex.
and its making me feel very

hurt.
(been a long time since i used this word)

life's nv totally fair, ya know?

**

okays end of rambling.
life has to go on.
pathetic life in fact, when its exams time =(
i'll be back to the normal Veronica again when I wake up tomorrow.
;)
