Lots of good things happened when i got back home! I really miss home, and i'm absolutely sick of hall.
Yesterday night, I heard the ding-ding-ding bell from the ice-cream man. It got me so excited that I rushed down to the carpark to get an ice-cream cone from him! 'Childhood ice-cream', that what I name them. They're the best, the king of all ice-creams. Ben N Jerrys, Hagan Daaz or swensens can all step aside. Plus, it's always cheap. And never fail to cheer me up! =D
And that night, I slept at 1 am! I forgot when was the last time i actually slept at 1 am. Sleeping times are always so crazy in hall. That is if you get to sleep. And sometimes, I don't even feel that I'd slept even though I really did!
Today, I went to the expo robinsons' sales with my parents. They wanted to get pillows cos the ones at home were too soft and lumpy. OMG the bedlinens there are so so so so so cheap can!! I have this thing for bedlinens. Seriously, I love bedlinens. Because I dont have a comforter, and I've been bugging my mum to get one for me, she finally got one comforter+bedsheet set for me!! YAYs i love mummy! Its on sales, and super cheap and value-for-money. Plus the design is nice and material not bad. =D I am a happy girl now!
In the end, we left robinsales with 2 king koil memory pillows, 1 comforter set, 15 masks (buy 10 free 5, so reasonable!), 2 Lux body foam (luv Lux) and 2 Eversoft facial foams. Total about $116 but we had 10% off with the Safra card. OCBC/Robinsons credit card holders get additonal 10% off. DAMN GOOD DEAL! I'm not advertising for robinsons here, I'm just sharing my very pleasant and fruitful shopping experience today.
Oh and luckily I reminded my parents not to let me go to the lingerie section or else we'll definitely spend more. Like bedlinens, I have this soft spot for lingerie too. Ladies are much more fortunate than men, because WE GET TO WEAR PRETTY LINGERIE! =))
The world is really small. I saw yanni and terence today at the expo. They went to visit the Hello Kitty Lab at Hall 1. Entrance fee is 38 bucks each! Ouch. Well well, most new couples dont scrimp. Love blinds their financial sense. Ask wee keat to buy something for me now, and he'll either tell me that it's not nice, or to buy it myself. Times are different now. =P
Then after leaving expo, while driving back, my dad stopped at a red light. And beside my dad's car is a BAT van. Guess who's inside? The uncle who I was under at that time! Such a coincidence! I never imagined I would meet someone I know while driving on the road, and I did today! Didnt say hi though. Cos I felt crazy to wind down the window and wave and smile to catch his attention just to say hi. lol. and its even more embarassing if he doesnt remember me.
Lastly, and once again, it's good to be home :)
