@11:55 AM
Today, I met a kind soul.
Was waiting for bus B when a car pulled up in front of the bus stop and the driver asked me if I wanted a lift to school. Well, since it's on the way, and the bus is nowhere in sight, I thought "why not?". And so, I accepted the ride to North Spine.
Such little and random gestures of kindness may seem nothing, and to some "bo liao". But when you actually accept kindness from others, it definitely brightens up your day, and set you thinking about spreading the kindness to others around you. You don't have to do big and impressive things to show that you are kind, just a smile or a "hello" can in fact do the trick.
Maybe some will feel that "Oh it's because you're a girl, so he offered to give you a lift." Well, that's up to them, but I definitely do not think that it's a gender-biased act. Kindness does not discriminate.
So, spread the love everyone!
And to Zhi Hao, thank you.
