Sunday night peiyao drove me and jieying to geylang. he wanted to sell us away but failed because we're priceless! lol. we went for supper instead and after supper, py drove us around the red light districts. its like another different world out there.

girls line up by the streets, eagerly waiting for someone to 'pick them up'. they're all of different shapes and sizes, different nationalities, different background, but somehow i feel they have something in common, they're all so desperate. some are dressed decently, some just wear bra and a hot pants, some smoke, some pull and tug at passerbys' clothes, but almost all of them have a sad story behind them. some of them are really tall, slender and pretty, so it makes one wonder why they had to choose this route when they can find other jobs. i dont mean that less pretty girls have more reasons to be in this industry. i can feel their fierce stares when i look at them from within the car, but i believe they are doing that to protect themselves. its so insulting to be viewed as an exhibition. some people may think that prostitution is just another job, instead of selling food, products or a service, they're selling their body, nothing wrong with this thinking but not everyone can accept what these girls are doing. to me, i'm in no position to judge them. I just believe that they have their own difficulties and this is their last resort.

Monday went to town with pei yao and jieying to a job agency. we need jobs!!! after a brief form-filling session and interview, we headed to TCC at raffles city to chill out. lol. lame right...spend money when we're supposed to look for jobs.

my coffee, named rose latte or something like that. recommended by jieying, TrealCC. its really very nice! has a rose fragrance and very nice coffee taste - not too bitter, not too sweet. i'm not the kind who know how to appreciate coffee but this is really nice, and its pretty!
we all shared a plate of potato wedges (nice!!) and each had a piece of cake. mine was the Coffee Obsession below, its really nice! but i still prefer cakes from Secret Recipe.

after wasting our time slacking at TCC, we decided to go Chomp Chomp. terence joined us too. at chomp chomp, we were too full to eat a full meal so we jus shared some ligh dishes. i also tried the much-talked-about egg bean curd. ehhh, the texture is really smooth but it doesnt make me craving for me. instead, after a few mouthfuls, i got abit sick of it. i still think Rochor bean curd is the best in town!!
